Happy new year 2017!

Today is a new year’s day.

In Japan, during OSHOGATSU we have family gathering, eat OSECHI, give OTOSHIDAMA(give money to kids), and many people go see rising sun, enjoy watching EKIDEN on TV, and of course visit temple and pray.

We have many traditional events that we do at the beginning of the year.

Oshougatsu (new year) is very special days for Japanese.

It is very important to say AKEMASHITE OMEDETOUGOZAIMASU! as a new year greeting meaning happy new year!

Everyone, KOTOSHIMO YOROSIKU ONEGAI SHIMASU!!! ことしもよろしくおねがいします。

*If you want to have Japanese online lesson, please make a reservation by sending request form.  Schedule is adjustable, so pick any day and time^^
